Our Pitkin County Telecom office is about to get more environmentally friendly with solar power being installed to our office in Basalt. Contractors plan to do electrical work on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 between 8am and noon, give or take any unexpected problems. This work requires the power to be shut down for our building. This will mean that channels 2, 20, 9 and 7 will be off the air during this time. Please be patient with us during this work. Upon completion of this solar project we will also be installing a back up generator so future power outages should not be major shut downs for our building and it’s broadcasting systems.
